Located in the heart of the Tarn, the Château de Scalibert is not only a geographical location, but a place of listening, intelligence, slowness and verticality.
Rebuilt in the 18th century by a visionary woman, Madame Charlotte Zoé Prud’homme de Saint-Maur, Baroness of Scalibert, He crossed time in silence, placed on the hill like a promise.
Through a patient and enlightened restoration, she not only brought the stones back to life, she reawakened a spirit, that of a place focused on the circulation of ideas and sensibilities, sharing and inner momentum.
It has once again become a place of character and elevation, where the stones still whisper the desire to open, to connect, to transmit.
It is in this lineage, from woman to woman, from builder to ferrywoman, that we have chosen to open this cycle with a singular voice: that of Blanche de Richemont, writer of simplicity, traveler of the soul and lover of silence.
She embodies this gentle, inner strength, this inhabited presence which resonates fully with the spirit of the place.
Thus, this inaugural evening, on September 25, hosted by Christine Bach, literary director and friend of the Château de Scalibert, opens much more than a cycle of meetings: it inaugurates a place of anchoring, of circulation of the word, where something rare and essential breathes.
