Literary wanderings
Money and family
Talking about it to prevent conflicts
June 13, 2026, starting at 6:30 PM
For this new Literary Wandering, we
offer you a slightly different kind of encounter, centered around a theme that
concerns us all: transmission.
Our guests, Pauline de La Motte Rouge and
Caroline Maurel, both qualified notaries and
patrimonial and family mediators
partners at the firm Médiaccord, have
compiled their experiences from
their practice to create a veritable
“dictionary of transmission,” composed
of stories and situations inspired by real life.

Passing on… a lifetime’s work, a legacy, a family history,
values, sometimes difficult choices. Behind the legal documents
often lie human stories, heartfelt inheritances,
memories, and commitments.
Pauline de La Motte Rouge and Caroline Maurel
will share these stories to open the discussion and invite us to
reflect together on what it means to pass something on.
The event will be followed by a discussion and book signing
of their recently published book from Maxima, and then a convivial cocktail dinner
in keeping with the spirit of the Literary Wanderings.
