Practical Information
A moment of comfort and relaxation in an exceptional setting where you feel right at home.
A "family home" open to all
Because welcoming everyone is important to us, the castle has been completely renovated in accordance with accessibility standards for people with reduced mobility (PRM). Several features facilitate everyone’s movement and stay:
- An elevator for easy access to the upper floors.
- A bedroom and its bathroom have also been specially adapted.
- Circulation in common areas is designed to be fluid and unobstructed.
The art of taking your time and sharing it
Various spaces are available to you depending on your current needs :
Sun loungers for you to relax in the sun.
The option to have lunch outdoors to enjoy the enchanting setting.
A selection of board games and outdoor games such as ping-pong, pétanque and badminton to liven up your days or evenings.
Your Desires, Our Priority
Never hesitate to let us know your needs or desires so that we can best prepare for your arrival.
We will do everything we can to meet your expectations and personalize your experience. Some examples of services we can arrange for you (upon request and subject to availability): providing bicycles to explore the surrounding area, delivery of local dishes, and organizing dinners with private chefs directly at the castle.
Swimming and Activities
Château de Scalibert will have a swimming pool from summer 2026. Furthermore, the Tarn region abounds with natural and developed swimming spots where you can cool off and soak up the sun. We would be delighted to direct you to the best swimming locations nearby, whether lakes, rivers, or open-air pools. You can also consult the Tarn Tourist Office website for more information: https://www.tourisme-tarn.com
Our Animal Friends
To ensure the peace and quiet of all our guests, we unfortunately cannot accommodate all pets. However, if you miss your four-legged friends, you will have the opportunity to cuddle our three adorable resident cats who roam the grounds, as well as a young Labrador Retriever who recently joined the family.
